WELCOME HOME JESSICA
 Copyright 2003  Suzanne Buckley-Porter/Anna Horoschak/Michael Terry

Chorus:
Welcome back Jessica to West Virginia
Where the land is free
Welcome back Jessica to West Virginia
You’ll fulfill your dreams

1st Verse:
Roaming through the desert
Every breath an effort
Out of ammunition
Looking for a way out
Finding only chaos
Lost from the coalition

2nd Verse:
Folks praying for your rescue
Never even met you
Angels on your shoulder
Prisoners of war
We’ll search on every shore
Won’t be left behind

Chorus Repeats:
Welcome back Jessica to West Virginia
Where the land is free
Welcome back Jessica to West Virginia
You’ll fulfill your dreams

(Pre Chorus)
Soldiers that were lost will never be forgotten
Yellow ribbons everywhere
Welcome back Jessica

3rd Verse:
Thousands of our troops
Died in World War II
We prayed that peace came soon
From the shores of Normandy
To another page in history
We fought for liberty

Bridge:
You fought hard and won
For your right to move on
And in time peace will prevail

Chorus Repeats and Pre Chorus Repeats

He’s My Brother
Words & Music by David Seering ©2003

1st Verse
He’s in a far away land
In a far away place
And He’s fighting to save

The whole human race
And He’s protecting our freedom
And He’s protecting our rights
And I know with God’s hand
He is ready to fight

Chorus
Well, He’s My Brother, He’s your friend
He’s a Modern Day Warrior
Who will fight to the end
So, when you’re down on your knees
And you’re praying at night
Remember our Hero who has gone to fight

2nd Verse
Now when he left his family
And he left his home
He was so uncertain
He was all alone
But there He met many others
Who were just like Him
And they bonded together
So they could stop the sin

2nd Chorus
Well, He’s My Brother, He’s your friend
He’s a Modern Day Warrior
Who will fight to the end
So, when you’re down on your knees
And you’re praying at night

Remember our Hero who has gone to fight

3rd Verse
I remember the day
When He raised his hand
To defend His country
To protect our land
And when the time has come
And the world’s been shown
That the enemy’s been defeated
Now our Hero comes home

Repeat Chorus
Well, He’s My Brother, He’s your friend
He’s a Modern Day Warrior
Who will fight to the end
So, when you’re down on your knees
And you’re praying at night
Remember our Hero who has gone to fight

Healing
( J. Wilson Copyright 2000)

With a gentle hand on my hand I’m reconnected
Feel the energy rediscover me
Fears now begin to dissipate
Embrace the force flowing through my system

Healing, oh turn off the pain
Learn to see the past as just that
I’m healing, bring love back again
Listen to the heart, then understand

I’m seeing colours, now I’ve stopped shaking
Purple, yellow, orange, I’m not afraid anymore
With a gentle hand I transfer information
Where I have been is where I’ll remain no more

A gentle hand has sealed my division
With a golden lining, a spiritual alchemy
As whence I came, I am again that person
Through moments sacrosanct, I accept the remedy

Faithless
( J. Wilson Copyright 2000)
Featuring Alexandra Slate with Michael Virtue
You said you wouldn't care,
if you went flying through the air
Now you fall apart, where did you lose your heart?
Always ever wanting, never satisfied
Too late to present that olive branch,
when enemies grow tired
The horizon bends away, where sky blue fades to grey
Can you get healed?  'Cause you're going to feel faithless
Chart a course for your crusade, and get lost along the way
Can you get found?  'Cause you're going down faithless
People gave with their time, took you by the hand
Offered everything they could, to help you understand
They saw in you a future, they led you to that place
You showed them how you felt, when you set it all ablaze
No soul left to save, faithless

 You're The Reason I Believe
(K. Dean & J. Wilson Copyright 2000)

It has taken far too long, to see these hopes play out
How will these labored words turn our song around?
It's like staring at the clock, and wishing you were here
Why can't I tell myself, I deserve you?
Can you begin to count all my failing virtues?
They're so easy to attest, it only takes a fool

You walk a mile child, I'll run a million
You raise a finger, I'll move a mountain
You found the arrow, bring it to me
You're the reason I believe

Why must I insist on wasting so much time
I need that discipline, to put me back in line
It seems I'm keeping you away, and bringing myself down

You state your claim child, I'll show no mercy
You dress my wounds then, I'll face an army
You let the sun in, lie here with me
You're the reason I believe

All those men are not saints,
Yet, I'm a sinner, too
T'was grace that brought you here with me
And grace will see us through

Holy Mountain Man
( J. Wilson Copyright 1998) poem by Michael St. George

I used to like keeping my distance, I’ve been hurt before,
why open up the same old sores to you
This time was different, ‘cause it seemed to me,
that you’ve been through the same things too

I could be candid with you, for such are affairs of the heart
My heart was handed to you, I tried to stop before the start

And they say, it’s easy to be holy on a mountain
Clouds roll by, as time gives way
And they say, it’s easy to be holy on a mountain
But when you come down, you come down to stay

I guess your smile was the answer, to every question in my head To come down off of the mountain, you gotta cross the razor’s edge

            I thought I was protected on my mountain;
isolated, yet, partially I-tegrated by choice,
I later realized I was mistaken
            I was wrong...

Peace In Our Time
(J. Wilson, T. Lee & P. Joseph, Copyright 1993)

Time, time is all we have
to share this precious gift of life, again
In all you say, in everything you do,
for all our children's sake it all comes down to you

Peace in our time - is all we ever need
Peace in our time - is all we ever wanted

The problems of the world come down to this star
every man for himself or else you don't get far
it's a personal problem on a larger scale
don't let them tell you - it's a trick of the tale
if someone thinks for you, then we don't get any nearer
if you think for yourself the answer gets clearer

Bablyon come in a 'big brodder' style sah,
offers a hand shake and an ear-to-ear smile
'bout everyting cool if you just reason with 'im
don't fret for your idren, look out for your problem
drag a horse to water but you can't make him drink
you can show a man a problem but you can't make him think
but I'm a conscious man dep on de highway
searching all around for peace in dis iwa
with consciousness pure music I man find
searching over yonder for peace in this time

It's a thought, it's only just a thought
you can change it if you want, or you can not
It's a dream, a dream we all can share
break down the wall to find . . . (it isn't there)

INTRO
Dizzy, you don't know
Dizzy, you don't know
Dizzy, you don't know

1ST VERSE
You don't know what you do to me
No, no baby, it's an odd feeling
'cause you sway me back and forth
It's like the tug of war

2ND VERSE
Can't you see how you make me feel?
Oh, baby 'cause you're turnin' me off and on
Emotions hot and cold
You've got such a hold on me

BRIDGE
I never knew it would be this way
Push and pull, back and forth
I can't take this anymore

CHORUS
Oh, baby, it's you
You make me dizzy
I'm losing control
You're stepping on my emotions
Tampering with this
What's up with you boy, tell me
It's gonna be all right

Dizzy, you don't know
Dizzy, you don't know
Dizzy, you don't know

3rd VERSE
You don't see what I'm going through
No, no baby, 'cause you're so blind
'cause you push and pull and scold
It's harder than before

BRIDGE
I never knew it would be this way
Push and pull, back and forth
I can't take this anymore

CHORUS (Repeat twice) & out
Oh, baby, it's you
You make me dizzy
I'm losing control
You're stepping on my emotions
Tampering with this
What's up with you boy, tell me
It's gonna be all right
