dREaD & BLUE: A Canadiana Suite, is the
new album by Canadian artist Jason Wilson and Tabarruk. The album
presents a strong jazz-influence atop the bands traditional reggae foundation.
dREaD & BLUE offers both originals, recalling Jason's days as a child growing up in Downsview in
the north-west end of Toronto during the 70s and Canadian cover songs including; Oscar Peterson's
'March
Past'; Robbie Robertson's (The Band) 'It Makes No Difference'; and
Jane Sibbery's 'One More Colour'.

The band released the album on 15
April, 2004 at Hugh's Room in Toronto (for reservations call
416-531-6604). A cross-Canada tour is scheduled for the summer,
check the site for dates. The tour will include special guest trumpeter Nick 'The Brownman' Ali (2002 Canadian
National Jazz Composer Of The Year and 2001 Montreal Jazz
Festival's "Gran Prix du Jazz" winner.
